It’s only about 20 minutes from the Tulsa Little Theater.

This will be going on both Friday May 15th and Saturday May 16th.
It is an all ages event but must show ID to drink.

There will be specials for H.net members so make sure you bring you membership cards.
Come on out to the Laughing Wench after your sessions and have dinner and drinks and a good time with your fellow Hanson fans.

Members Only Event update

BOTH the 7pm session and the 3pm session are FULL. They are looking to add a 3rd session and more details on that will be posted soon.

Here’s what I know about the RSVPs -
-A list is going to be made in the near future to say who has made it into which sessions.
-If you RSVPed too late for a session, you should be getting an email back stating your options or that you were wait listed
-You can keep RSVPing, even though details on the 3rd session aren’t out yet – you will be wait listed.
-If you sent an email from the wrong email (ie. not your hanson.net account) you will get a chance to correct it before losing your spot in the session.

This is all very hectic and confusing, I know, but I trust that it will all work out in the end. And Leigh has been doing a wonderful job with keeping everyone up to date on what is going on, so a big round of applause for her!

This Week at Hanson.net

RSVP for the Members Only Event will begin on Monday at 5pm EST. There will be 2 sessions, 3pm and 7pm. (A third will be added if needed) You will need your Hanson.net card to enter the event!

You must be a Hanson.net Fan Club member to attend the event.
You MUST RSVP for the event and you MUST use your Hanson.net email.
RSVP to hansonevent@hanson.net from your Hanson.net email starting Monday, February 16, 2009 @ 5PM ET, and ending Sunday, May 10, 2009 @ 5pm ET.
In the subject line of the email, please put 3pm or 7pm to indicate the session you wish to attend.
In the body of the email, list your full name and Hanson.net username.
If you do not follow instructions, your RSVP will be discarded
Once a particular session is full, we will post in the news to let everyone know.
You will need your Hanson.net Membership card for entry to the event. Those without membership cards will be able to present a photo ID but only after all those with membership cards enter.
No cameras, video or audio recorders. All cell phones are required to be turned off during the event.
All photos will be taken by Hanson.net staff.
There will be a group photos following each session.

Message from the Band
Well, we have spent most of the week writing and playing. When preparing to make a new album, there is an odd balance between focusing on finishing new songs and being open to writing more. I know we all feel like this record is special. There’s just a vibe about the songs we’re writing that seem different from anything we’ve done before. This may be a funny thing to say, but it is not that we’re evolving as much as I think we’re getting better! Hahaha!

It will still be a month or two before we start recording anything, but by that point, I am hoping to start shooting some videos so everyone can start to get a taste for the new album.

Members Only Event confirmed!

The members only event has been scheduled for May 16th, at the Tulsa Little Theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This will be the first opportunity for members to hear live versions of the music from the new member kit, as well as songs that are being written for the new Hanson album. More details to follow – please don’t call the venue as they will not be able to provide you with any more information.

Message from the band

It has been a good few weeks since finishing up the Rock Boat. We have spent a week doing this year’s Fools Banquet (an annual song writing event we put on), as well we have been working on the 2009 membership kit for the last few days. Now that we are finished I am going to try to put some photos and videos up of the mixing and recording that has been going on so keep your eyes peeled.

Well, I’m off to renew my membership and look up flights!
