What Locksley has been up to…
September 5, 2008 · 2 Comments
I’m sure you all remember Locksley – who opened on last fall’s leg of the Walk tour. Here’s a little update of what is going on in the wonderful world of Locksley –
They will be on MTV’s “Choose or Lose” tour – which kicks off October 5 in Boston MA and wraps up November 1 in New York. (For more dates, check out their myspace)
They have 3 songs available for “Rock Band”!
Also – their CD “Don’t Make Me Wait” is being re-released September 9th – (which unfortunately will not be including that “No No No” sing-a-long song we all enjoyed singing so much on tour! – Thanks Stephanie for clearing that up! But it should be making its way onto their NEW album that they are working on!)
Also be sure to watch the VMAs Red Carpet because you just might see the guys of Locksley walking on it!

Opening Acts
August 21, 2008 · 2 Comments
Hanson has 4 opening acts that will be with them on this falls “Walk Around the World” tour! The schedule is a little tricky to follow, but we have it all mapped out on the walk around the world tour page!
The openers are:
Announced 7/17 – Dave Barnes (Orlando – Chicago)
Announced 8/18 – The Veronicas (Dallas – Birmingham)
Announced 8/19 – Everybody Else (Portland – Edmonton, Dallas – Birmingham, Charlotte – San Diego)
Announced 8/20 – Matt Wertz (Des Moines – San Diego)
With the exception of the Northwest and Canada shows, there will be 2 openers at each show. Looks like I will be seeing only Everybody Else and Dave Barnes at my shows.
Anyone who gets to see Matt Wertz – I am incredibly jealous! I’ve seen him once before and know you are in for a real treat!
The Veronicas are hopping on the Hanson tour after finishing up a couple of dates with the Jonas Brothers! It would be interesting to hear from them after both tours and their thoughts on both bands, since they are so often compared to each other for being great brother bands!
And of course – if you buy tickets – don’t forget to scan them or take a digital photo and send it in for the archive!
